The Redding Browns Baseball Club is looking forward to getting year number two of operating in the greater Redding area under way. As the team recruits and scouts new players for their roster, returning players are blowing the dust off their gloves and start
to prepare for the season. The team will start practicing at un-disclosed locations until their season opener in April at a location TBA.
The Redding Browns have a vision to develop into a scout team for prospective and current collegiate players in the Northern California area. With a former professional coach and current professional/ college baseball scout at the helm of the Browns, their is opportunity for players who have the aptitude and desire to improve to receive direct feedback throughout the mini season in fall and spring. This is an opportunity for young players who do not get an invite to play with other collegiate teams in the area to continue competing on the field and work on their craft.
The Redding Browns intend to compete in the Shasta Baseball League during the 2021 as this is the only independent baseball league available in the area.
